The PAX Moot – Private International Law in Motion – attempts to achieve a twofold objective: raising awareness about EU private international law among the educational community and ensure training in EU private international law for the judiciary. One of its most remarkable components was the launch of a Moot Court Competition to increase students’ awareness of its reach and significance.
The PAX Moot Court Competition has been growing over the years, as the interest for the competition raised far beyond the European Union’s borders. The PAX community now includes a larger group of not only students but also legal professionals and academics from a wide array of universities.
The CR2D is proud to host and co-organize the PAX Moot Court 2022 in Paris with the help of Sciences Po - Ecole de droit.
The PAX Moot Court is a specialized moot court competition focused on Private International Law issues, gathering more than 30 Universities from all around the world!
____________________________________________________________
Organized with six other universities from Europe, the project is founded by the European Union's Justice Programme (2014-2020).
The Jury of the PAX Moot consists of panels of Moot Court Judges. As in previous years, the panel will comprise professional judges, practicing lawyers and professors.
This year, the final round of the PAX Moot will be held at the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris.
